Design Engineer
“That’s the exact ambiguity that describes me”, I thought to myself as I read about the indefinite definition of a design engineer.
So, this site shows a bit of what I do as a self-proclaimed design engineer. I'll let you decide if you think this title is fitting and/or deserved!
My tech journey
Along my journey from no-code (2021) to all-code (2022 and beyond), I've never shied away from the front-end's surrounding disciplines. Going into 2025, I'm applying many skills concurrently in the development of a mobile app. Some of these go beyond the scope of software and more into the realm of entrepreneurship, which makes it a great, all-round experience.

A design vision for Payload CMS
Payload, a headless CMS, needed a design overhaul. I created a UI/UX demo to showcase a tangible design vision for the platform.
Develop emails with half the code
A Vite plugin that converts Tailwind classes in your Svelte email components to inline styles on built time. Plus, a user-friendly UI for previewing your emails in development.
Heal and prevent injuries
A universal movement planner and logger, with an emphasis on load management through fine-tuned progressions and composable programming.
About me
Hey, I'm Steven. As much as I love design and development, I'm primarily driven to utilize these skills to solve meaningful problems. I've learned that doing so requires focus. That's why these days, I dedicate my spare time to the WiseLoad app, while I've paused other side-projects and open-source contributions for the time being.
Vision
Enjoy the doing, while doing good.
Core value
Be goal-driven yet curious.
